Sponsorship disclosure
[DRAFT, attorney review] This page is a working draft written from the site disclaimer. It is not final until a securities attorney has reviewed it.
Some placements on Givers Capital are paid. This page explains which ones, what the money buys, and what it never buys.
What is paid
- Featured partner. A labeled spotlight for a firm or advisor on the homepage and in the investor directory.
- Sponsored deal placement. A featured spot for a vetted startup on a page or in the Givers Monthly Drop.
- Newsletter sponsorship. A labeled sponsor slot in the Drop.
How it is labeled
Every paid placement carries the word "Sponsored" where it appears. Sponsored deals and featured partners are never presented as recommendations.
What money does not change
- Vetting. Sponsored deals go through exactly the same four checks as every other deal, and can fail them.
- Order of the vetting queue, approval of investors, or whether an introduction is made.
- Our fee structure. Fees are flat. We never take a percentage of money raised or invested, and we are not compensated based on the outcome of any investment.
Current sponsors
There are no paid placements on the site today. This list updates when one goes live.
[PLACEHOLDER: pricing, once set, and confirmation from the securities attorney that paid placements may be offered.]
